What's Green Home?
Green Home acts as a hub for Green Party bloggers, promoting the idea of a green blogosphere or community that engages with each other supportively, critically and regularly.
Although run by Green Party members in the UK this site is not directly run by any Green Party and has it's own structures and editorial independence.
As a new and experimental tool we hope that this work in progress will develop over time and will prove itself useful, interesting and fun for our readers.
Editorial policy
The main purpose of this site is to give the grassroots of the Green Party a stronger voice, getting their message across to a wider audience.
It's also our intention to host round-ups on significant events and issues (like the camp for climate action) and guest posts from interesting and varied people from across the green movement.
Editors instructions can be found here.
People:
Jim Jepps, who blogs over at The Daily (Maybe), is overseeing the project as a whole.
Tom Chance, who is one of the bloggers at Acrewoods, is in charge of the technical side of the site, supported by other members of the team.
Chris Hyland is a member of the Green Party in Leeds and supports the site editorially and technically.
